Job Overview Hyosung USA is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead and manage the manufacturing facility to ensure viability. The areas led and managed are Safety, Quality, Human Resources, Production, Engineering and Maintenance, Financial Results, and Community Relations. The Plant Manager is responsible for meeting the plan of the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, lean manufacturing, and plant management. Responsibilities · Develop and implement manufacturing business plans · Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus · Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations · *Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and improving quality standards · Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping · Oversee optimized inventory management – both production and supplies. · Responsible for achievement and maintenance of Global Quality Excellence and ISO Certifications · Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results · Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions · Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff · Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime · Commit to and improve plant safety procedures · Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets · Address employee issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements · Stay current with latest production management best practices and concept as well as latest production methods and equipment · Work with the sales and marketing division to develop new strategies and markets Qualifications · 4-Year Degree in a discipline related to manufacturing and leadership · Possess the broad knowledge necessary to operate a manufacturing facility. · Possess a broad knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and the application of these principles to manufacturing. · Possess a broad knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO) and the application. · Knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources) · Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise · 10 years proven experience as a plant manager · Demonstrated data analysis and continuous improvement expertise · Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills · Strong communication skills · Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office If you are a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence, we invite you to apply for the Plant Manager position.
