Job description Logistics Specialist / Warehouse Shipping Specialist Department: Carpet Division Shipping FLSA: Non-Exempt Reports To: Shipping Manager Supervises: N/A Position Summary Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers. Making sure that shipments of all products are in order. Responsibilities include organizing and monitoring the storage and distribution of goods. General Qualifications Education/Knowledge: · High School or Equivalent · Equivalent work experience · Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Experience (required and preferred): · Ability to manage and account for inventory. · Minimum 2 years of experience with shipping. Skills (required and preferred): · Knowledge or experience with SAP Program · Knowledge or experience with WMS Program · Proficient with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems. Physical Demands/Work Environment: Vision, hearing, and speech are required. Manual dexterity is necessary. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. Essential Functions · Monitoring inventory and sharing it with the production team. · Communicate promptly with the manager on shipping, receiving, and customer issues. · Keeps accurate records of all work · Prepares Bill of Laden for material shipments in ERP · Execute physical inventory and cycle count processes in ERP. · Identify inventory by period · Long-term inventory clearance · Manages COAs for shipments · Manage when supplies are low or malfunctioning. · Responsible for maintaining clean orderly grounds. Additional Responsibilities · Assists with Quality & Repair Team. · Performs other duties as required.
